Crispy Battered Shrimp and a Sweet Sauce with Honey

  • BATTERED SHRIMP: SHRIMP, WATER, WHEAT FLOUR, RICE FLOUR, COTTONSEED AND/OR SOYBEAN OIL, YELLOW CORN FLOUR, CHICKPEA FLOUR, WHEAT GLUTEN, SALT, GARLIC POWDER, LEAVENING (SODIUM ACID PYROPHOSPHATE, SODIUM BICARBONATE), ONION POWDER, SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE (TO RETAIN MOISTURE), SPICE, YEAST EXTRACT, XANTHAN GUM, SOYBEAN OIL (AS A PROCESSING AID), SODIUM METABISULFITE (AS A PRESERVATIVE).

**Internal temperature should be 165°F for at least 15 seconds. These instructions are guidelines only since individual cooking equipment vary in temperature.

Air Fry (Preferred method)
9 minutes
  1. Preheat air-fryer to 400°F.
  2. Place unopened SAUCE pouch in a bowl of hot water to thaw.
  3. Empty the bag of frozen shrimp into air fryer. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until hot**, shaking or turning halfway through.
  4. Place shrimp in serving bowl and stir in heated SAUCE with shrimp.
Oven (Preferred method)
13 minutes
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place unopened SAUCE pouch in a bowl of hot water to thaw.
  3. Empty the bag of frozen shrimp into an oven-safe container. Cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes or until hot**, turning halfway through.
  4. Place shrimp in serving bowl and stir in heated SAUCE with shrimp.
Pan Fry
8 minutes
  1. Place unopened SAUCE pouch in a bowl of hot water to thaw.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil on MEDIUM heat in a large skillet.
  3. Empty bag of frozen shrimp into skillet and cook on MEDIUM for 6 minutes, or until hot**, turning halfway through.
  4. Pour SAUCE over the shrimp and stir until evenly coated. Turn off heat and let stand for 1 minute before serving.
Microwave
4 minutes
  1. Place unopened SAUCE pouch in a bowl of hot water to thaw.
  2. Empty the bag of frozen shrimp into a microwave-safe container. Microwave on HIGH uncovered for 3 minutes, or until hot**.
  3. Stir in heated SAUCE with shrimp.

NOTE: MICROWAVE OPERATING AT 1200 WATTS. MICROWAVES MAY VARY, ADJUST COOK TIMES TO INDIVIDUAL MICROWAVE.
