We know budgets may be a little tighter these days. From groceries and gas to everyday expenses, we know everyone is looking for ways to make their dollars stretch further.

We understand you might have questions about serving sizes and we want to share more information.

Please rest assured, you are getting the same amount of food in all our InnovAsian products: NO SHRINKFLATION.

We have never changed the weight or size of our products.

We want to clarify how servings are measured. Serving sizes on Nutrition Facts labels are required to be shown in common household measures, such as cups, and by weight. For this product, one serving equals 1 cup (170 g). While the product is sold by weight, the USDA requires a common household measurement (in this case, a cup). However, for an accurate measurement use a measurement of weight (grams) and not a cup.

A serving is determined by chicken and sauce. For example, InnovAsian’s General Tso’s Chicken is approximately 93 grams (3.3oz) of chicken and 77 grams (2.7oz) of sauce per serving. If you weigh the total frozen chicken and sauce together you can expect 510 grams (18oz) as stated on the box.

The USDA has specific requirements around how serving size is determined. InnovAsian is in full compliance with those USDA regulations as referenced here: eCFR:: 9 CFR 317.312 -- Reference amounts customarily consumed per eating occasion.

Where can I buy your products?

Click on the "Find this product near you" button from any of the product detail pages and you will be directed to the store locator widget. Enter your 5-digit zip code and hit GO. It will show you a list of stores that sell InnovAsian Cuisine® Meals. We recommend that you call the store to ensure they have stock.

Can I order your products online or directly from you?

At this time there are no options to order products directly from us. Depending on your location, there are several on-line options available for you to choose from.

Can I purchase the sauce separately?

No. All sauces are components of the meal.

Can I defrost the meals in the refrigerator?

We do not recommend this step. The safe handling procedure states KEEP FROZEN.

I placed my bag of sauce and bag of chicken in warm water to thaw. What do I do if the water gets inside the bag of chicken?

Please read the preparation instructions carefully. It states to place ONLY THE BAG OF SAUCE in warm water to thaw. There is no need to thaw the bag of chicken.

What does no MSG mean?

MSG is an abbreviation for Monosodium Glutamate. It is used as a food additive. InnovAsian Cuisine® does not add MSG.

Why are the sodium levels in your Asian meals so high?

Most of the sodium comes from the soy sauce in the sauces. Soy sauce is one of the most essential ingredients in our sauces. You can certainly try one of our citrus sauced meals to avoid the high sodium level, such as Orange Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken.
